Nursery Times
Nursery Times was created in 2018 by designers Jo Joof and Nicola Moore, who had met working on children's books and decided to build something truly original together. Inspired in part by Jo's niece, who has special educational needs, they set out to create a sensory book with great tactile and visual appeal for babies and young children. The result was the Nursery Times Crinkly Newspaper, a cloth book with super-crinkly pages that looks, feels and sounds exactly like a little newspaper, filled with bright, bold illustrations and simple rhyming text.
Each newspaper is machine washable, made from safety-tested materials, suitable from birth and packed in a gift envelope making it ready to give straight from the shelf. The range has won four gold awards at the Junior Design Awards over the past five years, reflecting the genuine originality and quality that sets Nursery Times apart from anything else on a new baby gift list.
